Since the beginning of time sages and physicians have known of the miraculous healing properties found in certain cereal grasses and grains. They had an intrinsic wisdom about their ability to nourish the body due to the fact that they contain almost every vitamin, mineral, enzyme and phytonutrient required for sustaining life. The two most legendary grains with tremendous biblical support to back up their healing ability are wheat and barley. Millions of people throughout history have experienced the blessings of great health by consuming these grains on a regular basis.
Today, more and more people realize that they must do something to either maintain good health or restore lost health. Many of the latest health reports say that we must eat more fruits, vegetables, nuts, whole grains, and good fats. In fact, historians claim that wheat was the earliest crop ever harvested by the human race with evidence of wheat farming along the Nile River dating back as far as 4,000 B.C. The biblical feast day of Pentecost, also known as the Festival of Weeks, or Shavuot, was held in celebration of the spring wheat harvest.
Nutritionally, wheat does seem to contain it all. It is an excellent source of protein, fat, and carbohydrates as well as vitamins, minerals and enzymes. Wheat truly is a special gift and should be considered for good health.

Barley
Barley, like wheat, is a highly nutritious grain and is mentioned close to 40 times in the Bible. In ancient Israel, its growing season and harvest actually came before wheat and it was the first crop of the year.
Like wheat, barley is also an excellent source of protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals. According to ancient Oriental wisdom, barley is good for the spleen and stomach, helps promote normal urinary flow, and like wheat, helps in the cooling process of the body.
Human Blood And Chlorophyll Are Almost Identical structurally. The reason why chlorophyll is so beneficial to our health is due to the fact that it is almost identical to human blood. There is only one difference between hemoglobin and chlorophyll. Hemoglobin is built around iron, and chlorophyll is built around magnesium. It's my belief that our blood and the blood of plants (chlorophyll) would be identical. It's the perfect symbiotic relationship between man and the plants. All life is dependent upon each other. Plants give us oxygen, we give them carbon dioxide and our sole source of nutrition comes from the chlorophyll found in all plant life.
"Chlorophyll, which is the green pigment found in the plant cells, is essential to the process of photosynthesis. Simply put, chlorophyll is the substance that fuels life on earth; without it, there would be no plants and thus, no oxygen. Chlorophyll's structure has been found to be almost identical to the structure of hemoglobin, a vital component within human blood. The most obvious difference between the two is that the structure of chlorophyll is based around magnesium, while hemoglobin is arranged around iron. Some scientists have hypothesized that the blood in animals is made in almost the same way as chlorophyll is made in plants. This could mean that when chlorophyll is introduced into the system, it could allow the blood to, among many other things, deliver more oxygen to the body and 'build' blood in those systems that are weakened by disease and toxins."(2)
Wheat, Barley, and Kamut Grasses- This is food for the brain. These are the Vitamin/Mineral herbs. They are mildly cleansing and the greatest sources of nutrition of any grasses.
